How to use the variety list:

The variety list is set up having two frames. The left frame will contain a list of all the varieties contained in the Germplasm block at the South Cost Research and Extension Center. Selecting a variety from the list on the left will bring up information on that variety in the frame on the right. Information in the "Additional Information" section is mainly observational in nature and may not apply to your climate or soil conditions.

How the information was gathered:

The variety list contains information that has been collected, primarily by volunteers, on trees in the Germplasm block at South Coast Research and Extension Center, Irvine, California. Data collection started in 1993.
